From farm residue to export pallet — in six stages
The material's journey through Atheel's plant: every stage adds measurable quality, and every pallet is evaluated before it leaves.
The journey
Six connected, automated stages
Chipping
Palm trunks, branches, and reclaimed wood are chipped into uniform 60 × 50 × 6 mm pieces — the raw feed for everything downstream.
Drum wood chipper — PMWC-216
Fine crushing
Chips are milled into fine, even particles; a dust-extraction unit keeps the blend clean and the workshop air safe.
Fine crusher — PMFS-1000
Drying
Moisture drops from as high as 50% down to 5–10% at 110–140 °C — the key to consistent pressing quality.
Rotary drum dryer & furnace — PMRD-1000
Resin blending
Dried fibre is automatically blended with resin in precisely weighed proportions — the recipe stage of every pallet.
Glue making & mixing system
Hot pressing
Each pallet is molded in a single piece under heat and 1,000 tonnes of hydraulic pressure, with PID-controlled mould temperature.
Press — PM-D1000 (×3) · Siemens PLC
Stacking & QC
Pallets are extracted, flattened, and stacked automatically; every pallet is evaluated for structural integrity before dispatch.
Auto feeding & stacking system (×2)
The transformation in numbers
What changes in the material?
The extreme heat and pressure eliminate bacteria and insects during manufacturing itself — which is why the pallet meets ISPM 15 with no fumigation or after-treatment.
Quality
Every pallet evaluated. Not sampled.
Every presswood pallet is subjected to comprehensive evaluations to guarantee its structural integrity, and each one passes finishing and quality checks against our standards before dispatch.
Flexibility
Same line, other products
With the same components, the line can manufacture other essential products as market needs evolve — wooden boxes, furniture pieces — making Atheel a materials platform, not a single-product factory.
